Brian knows that his success would not have been possible without his dad. His father wasn’t connected with motorbike races at all, and he knew almost nothing about it. Nevertheless, he supported his 10-year-old son Brian, who begged his father to buy him a bike.
He bought a bike, and then took his little boy to the races, having sacrificed his time, his after work rest and to some extent – his career. But now he can be incredibly proud of his son.

Brian Deegan is an American professional freestyle motocross rider and off-road racer. He is a co-founder of the Metal Mulisha brand and became one of the most decorated athletes in Freestyle Motocross at the X Games. He also competed in rallycross and short-course off-road racing.
Deegan is married to Marissa Deegan. Their three children have pursued motorsports: Hailie in auto racing, Haiden in motocross and Hudson in motocross and off-road competition.
Interesting and fun facts
Brian achieved a lot in his favorite kind of activity, and now his goals are simple – he just wants to continue racing and earn his living from selling of his super popular Deegan 38 products. But now his main goal is not to make achievement himself, but to support his daughter, an aspiring NASCAR driver.
Being an inspiration for others, he looks up at some sportsmen, who serve as his role models, too. They are off-road racers Carl Renezeder and Rob MacCachren.
His wins are not occasional or just gift from God. He does a lot to prepare himself. He studies psychological books and videos, which demonstrate, how people can win. “That a kind of mental game for me”, he tells.
