01
Our mission
Family Celebs explains publicly documented celebrity family relationships in a clear, accessible format. We aim to help readers distinguish confirmed information from rumor while preserving the context needed to understand each profile.
02
Source standards
We prefer sources with direct knowledge or an accountable editorial process. Depending on the subject, these may include:
- direct interviews, verified public statements and official announcements;
- public records, court documents and government or institutional sources;
- reputable newspapers, magazines, broadcasters and news agencies;
- authorized biographies and clearly attributed first-person accounts.
Anonymous social posts, fan pages, scraped databases and unsourced aggregators are not treated as sufficient evidence for significant biographical claims.
03
Verification and attribution
Names, dates, family relationships and other material details are checked against the strongest available evidence. When a primary source is unavailable, we seek confirmation from more than one reliable independent source where practical. Information that cannot be responsibly verified is omitted or described with appropriate attribution and uncertainty.
04
Bylines and accountability
Every editorial profile identifies the journalist or editor responsible for it and links to a profile containing that contributor’s role, biography and published work. Our current team is listed on the Our Authors page.
05
Editorial independence and conflicts
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not for the people or brands covered. Family Celebs does not sell favorable coverage, permit subjects to approve articles before publication or allow advertisers to determine editorial conclusions. Material conflicts of interest should be disclosed or the assignment reassigned.
06
Privacy, fairness and sensitive subjects
Public interest is not the same as public curiosity. We apply additional care to children, private relatives, medical information, bereavement, allegations and legal disputes. We avoid publishing private contact information, unsupported accusations or unnecessary personal details that create harm without adding meaningful context.
07
Updates and corrections
Biographical information changes. We update profiles when reliable new information becomes available and display the latest modification date. Substantiated factual errors are corrected under our Corrections Policy.
08
Technology and human editorial control
Research and publishing tools may assist with organization, formatting or quality checks, but professional journalists and editors remain responsible for source selection, verification, editorial judgment and publication decisions.
