How to submit a correction
Use the “Suggest an Update” control on an article or our contact page. Please include:
- the exact page URL and statement you believe is inaccurate;
- the correction you are requesting;
- links or documents from reliable sources that support the change;
- your relationship to the subject, when relevant.
We do not require a requester to be the subject of an article, but specific evidence helps us complete a fair review.

How requests are reviewed
An editor checks the published wording, the original sourcing and the new evidence. When necessary, we consult additional primary sources or reputable independent reporting. We distinguish factual errors from disagreements about emphasis, opinion or the inclusion of accurately reported public information.

Corrections, clarifications and routine updates
A material factual error is changed so the article accurately reflects the available evidence.
Accurate wording is expanded or refined when readers could reasonably misunderstand it.
New information, such as a marriage, birth, death or career development, is added without implying the previous version was wrong.

Transparency after a change
Updated articles display a modification date. Significant corrections may include a note explaining what changed. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting or broken-link fixes may be made without a correction note when they do not alter the meaning of the article.

If you disagree with a decision
You may submit additional evidence or identify a source we did not consider. The editorial team will reassess the request when new, relevant information is provided. Requests to remove accurate public-interest information are evaluated separately from factual correction requests and may involve privacy, safety or legal considerations.
