The name of Gerard’s wife is Lindsey Ann Way. They have a lot in common, and it seems, they were born to be together.
Lindsey and Gerard played in the same band “Project Revolution”. They fell in love with each other very quickly and got married backstage at one of their shows. That happened on September 3, 2007.

Gerard Arthur Way is an American singer, songwriter and comic-book writer born on April 9, 1977, in Summit, New Jersey. He co-founded My Chemical Romance in 2001 and became known as the band’s lead vocalist. The group released four studio albums, including “Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge” and the concept album “The Black Parade,” before announcing a breakup in 2013.
My Chemical Romance reunited in 2019, returned to touring in 2022 and released “The Foundations of Decay,” its first new song in eight years. The band staged the Long Live: The Black Parade stadium tour in 2025 and extended its Black Parade anniversary performances into 2026. Outside music, Way created “The Umbrella Academy” and “The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys” for comics. He has been married to musician Lindsey “Lyn-Z” Way since September 3, 2007; their daughter, Bandit Lee Way, was born in 2009.
