Bio

Tamara Lee “Tammy” Reynolds is the mother of actor Ryan Reynolds. She worked in retail sales and raised four sons—Patrick, Terry, Jeff and Ryan—with her husband, James “Jim” Chester Reynolds, in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Jim served in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and later worked as a food wholesaler. He lived with Parkinson’s disease for about two decades and died in 2015. Tammy has remained close to her sons and has occasionally joined Ryan at premieres, award ceremonies and lighthearted promotional appearances. She is also a grandmother to Ryan and Blake Lively’s four children.
