Jeff has been working as a pastor for years. He served at Living Water Community Church. The big lover of music, he developed passion to this art in his son’s heart, too. Daniel is a lucky boy, who has three siblings. Tyler is the oldest of them. He entered this world in Vancouver, WA. The boy studied in business administration at Eastern Washington University. Christian Seavey is Daniel’s older brother. Obviously, he is in good terms with ex-American Idol participant, because very often he features in his brother’s Instagram.
Like other kids from Seavey family, he spent his young years in Vancouver, WA. As for now, he is a senior year student at Western Washington University. Not long ago he tried his hand as an actor and participated for the first time in the new production of Seattle theater, titled “Orange Flower Water”.

Daniel James Seavey is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Vancouver, Washington. He first reached a national audience as a contestant on the fourteenth season of “American Idol” in 2015.
In 2016 Seavey joined Jack Avery, Corbyn Besson, Zach Herron and Jonah Marais to form Why Don’t We. The group released two studio albums before pausing its activities in 2022 amid a management dispute. The members later lost the rights to the band name, bringing that chapter of their careers to an end.
Seavey has since concentrated on solo music. His debut solo album, “Second Wind”, arrived in 2025 and expanded the one-man-band approach he had shown in earlier performances.
Seavey publicly confirmed a relationship with Katia Castellano in 2022. Because there has been no reliable recent public confirmation of its current status, this page does not present that relationship as current.
