Kenneth Christopher Ramos, Jr. played an important part in Young M.A’s life. “He is not here, and I carry with me every single day”, the singer shares in her interview. She adds that it is even harder for her mom. 

Kenny was killed by gangsters, and on September 26, 2009, he passed away. That tragedy had a big impact on Katorah’s family.

Kenneth was a friendly boy. He was a son of Katorah’s mother and Mr. Kenneth C. Ramos, Sr. He resided in Brooklyn, New York and worked at Bickel’s Snack as a laborer. He was a big fan of music.

After his death, Katorah suffered a lot and couldn’t express it verbally, so she didn’t write a single line about her feelings. But after a decade of this tragic event, she devoted her debut album to Kenny.
