Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., known professionally as Young Dolph, was an American rapper and independent music executive associated with Memphis hip-hop. He founded the Paper Route Empire label and released albums including “King of Memphis,” “Role Model” and “Rich Slave.”
Young Dolph was killed in a shooting in Memphis on November 17, 2021. His longtime partner was Mia Jaye, with whom he had two children, Tre Tre and Aria. The posthumous album “Paper Route Frank” was released in 2022.
