Ernie Lively was an American actor and acting coach born Ernest Wilson Brown Jr. on January 29, 1947, in Baltimore. His screen career included “Turner & Hooch,” “Passenger 57,” “The Beverly Hillbillies,” “The X-Files” and “The West Wing.”
He appeared with daughter Blake Lively in “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” and helped train members of his family as actors. Ernie died in Los Angeles on June 3, 2021, at age 74. He was survived by wife Elaine, five children and grandchildren.
