Antonio Brown has sports in his genes. His father, Eddie Brown, is a famous football star. He performed for AFL (Arena Football League – the indoor American league for professional players). He is considered as the best Arena footballer of all times.

Eddie divorced Antonio’s mother when the future sports star was just 10. After that, the boy resided in his mother’s house for a long time.

Antonio’s only full sibling is Desmond Brown. Like his father and brother, Desmond is also a professional American football player. He performs for “Pittsburgh Panthers”. He graduated from Miami Norland High School, just like his brother Antonio. Later he continued his education at Miami Dade Community College.

Antonio Tavaris Brown Sr. is a former American football wide receiver born on July 10, 1988, in Miami. After playing college football at Central Michigan, he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He became a four-time first-team All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowl selection and later won Super Bowl LV with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brown last played in the NFL during the 2021 season. In 2025 he was charged in Florida with attempted second-degree murder with a firearm in connection with a May shooting. He pleaded not guilty and was released on bond with GPS monitoring; the case remained pending in 2026, so the allegation is not presented as a conviction. Brown is the father of seven publicly reported children, while his current relationship status is private.
