Teri was briefly married to Markus Leithold, the occasional actor, in 1988-1989. Their marriage had been over before the wedding pictures were printed, as Markus confessed once in his interview.

Teri Lynn Hatcher entered this world on a cozy winter morning in 1964. She was the only beloved child in the family of two technicians Esther and Owen Hatcher. Neither of her parents or relatives was close to any kind of art. Nevertheless, a slim tall girl with huge brown eyes attended ballet and acting classes. She didn’t miss an opportunity to watch a new movie. At the same time, she couldn’t even dream about the career of an actress and performed on the stage as a dancer. In 2025 she began co-hosting the “Desperately Devoted” podcast with Andrea Bowen and her daughter Emerson.

In 2006 she presented her first book “Burnt Toast”, which she devoted to women, who don’t care about themselves properly. She shared homemaking and parenthood tips with her readers and shared the facts from her biography.
She was rumored to date the heartthrob George Clooney. They were caught together during a cozy dinner both enjoyed in a restaurant. But Teri denied all the rumors, telling he was just her neighbor.
She acted opposite Pierce Brosnan in “Tomorrow Never Dies”. Brosnan later said he learned that her pregnancy had contributed to delays during filming.
