Reeve Jefferson Carney is an American actor, singer, songwriter and guitarist born on April 18, 1983. He originated Peter Parker in the Broadway musical “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” and played Dorian Gray in the television series “Penny Dreadful.” His film credits include “The Tempest” and “House of Gucci.”

Carney originated Orpheus in “Hadestown” on Broadway and returned to the role in London in 2025. He and Eva Noblezada subsequently appeared together in the West End production of “Cabaret” and on Broadway in “The Great Gatsby” in 2026. The couple married in October 2025 and have no publicly confirmed children.
