The name of Jordyn’s father is John Woods. He separated from her mother, and Jordyn didn’t maintain any relationship with him till the man was diagnosed with cancer. He tragically passed away in early 2017. He appeared in a hospital on December 17, 2016 with flu symptoms, and nobody expected a tragedy at first. But then it was discovered, that he had cancer and its stage was not the early one. During 2 weeks Jordyn, her mother and her siblings stayed by his side. They posted an emotional photo on Instagram with them near John’s bed. They reconciled with John. In spite of all efforts, on January 18 he died. All members of Woods family devoted the Instagram post to their late patriarch.
Jordyn’s dad earned his living as a television sound engineer.
The family friend Kylie Jenner donated $10, 000 for John Woods’ funeral.
